The first Christ Apostolic Church in North America started as a house fellowship in 1976 by the late Rev. Goke Oyedeji, PhD, in Brooklyn, New York. This church is currently the headquarters of the First in the Americas (FITA) DCC and it is one of the Divisions within Christ Apostolic Church North America. Districts and Zones
The Organizational tree of Christ Apostolic Church has five levels of authority, the highest being the Trustees and then the Assembly Senior Pastors and the lowest being the Evangelist.
In North America, there are currently 14 DCCs/Zones, headed by 14 Superintendents. There are close to 100 churches in several cities and states in the United States and Canada who all come under the umbrella of CAC North America.
CAC North America Training Institute
The Organizational of Christ Apostolic Church North America has a Bible Training Institute (CACNABI) to train its Pastors, Evangelists, Deacon, and Deaconesses plus church workers so that its members can have a uniform knowledge of the word of God and its application. No one can serve in the church without having gone through this trainings. Training for the following levels are conducted
- Pastors
- Evangelist
- Deacon/Deaconess
- Workers
